Gil is a highly experienced maths educator with extensive expertise in both state and preparatory schools, specialising in 11+ and 13+ maths education. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Maths, he expanded his teaching scope to support GCSE maths students, including those studying Higher Tier and Further Maths.
His distinguished track record includes effectively preparing students for the mathematical and NVR components of 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations at renowned London schools such as Alleyn’s, City of London, JAGS, Dulwich College, and Highgate.
Gil's ability to explain complex subjects and topics makes the journey to these highly pressured exams meaningful and enjoyable. He maintains open communication with parents, explaining the entire process in detail and involving them every step of the way.
For the 2023/24 academic year, Gil assisted a 13+ student in gaining acceptance to Whitgift School and helped another student progress to the second round of 11+ interviews for Highgate School, ultimately securing an offer from the school.
Beyond preparing students for school entrance exams, Gil has supported several students in the highly challenging Primary Maths Challenge, leading to Gold Awards and successful completion of Bonus Rounds.
